AAR Insurance Kenya has appointed Justine Kosgei as its new CEO and Principal Officer, succeeding Dr. Patrick Gatonga.
Kosgei, who joined the company in November 2022 and became Principal Officer in February 2023, has driven significant growth, including a 32% increase in revenue and an 83% rise in profit before tax through innovative products, strategic partnerships, and operational efficiency. With extensive experience at APA Insurance, UAP/Old Mutual Rwanda, and UAP Insurance East Africa, Kosgei brings a strong track record of leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Actuarial Science, CPA, FLMI, and AIIK certifications, and has completed leadership programs at Harvard and Aga Khan University, while currently pursuing an MBA and MSc in Finance.
